Fock That's Good
I live in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. My love of food – wholesome, nutritious and sometimes naughty, has grown over the last few years, enjoying raw and cooked amalgamations make interesting meals and snacks. Every now and then I am asked about my recipes, so I thought I would create a space where I can share it openly. I am not an expert in food (who is?), but I do enjoy playing with flavours and creating exciting eats especially in this place we live, where certain ingredients are not always available.  I also love the amazing local market produce, and the way in which the food is cooked intrigues me.  I also believe in adapting local product and creating food that raises the eyebrows and puts a new spin on something that might be traditional.  I love the comforts and gadgets of my kitchen, but I am always seeking inspiration outside of my comfort zone.  I hope you enjoy this blog, as much as I enjoy sharing.

A Kiwi Expat In PNG
The general musings of self proclaimed “IT Rockstar”, Strategist, Eco-Warrior, Husband and Father of 3. Was residing in the sphincter of the universe (Asshole was taken by Invercargill)… Dunedin. Where on a warm summers day, it was still cold enough to pucker that sucker. Happily married to my reality checker, she of www.hotstrongcoffee.com and very proud jungle gym for the 3X’s… X1,X2,X3 – my kids. We are having an experience of a lifetime, moving from Dunedin and becoming expats in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Keep checking often as I recount our trials and tribulations as we live in “The Land of the Unexpected”

  1. Hello Sir. Nice blog! I am planning to go to PNG this coming Sept 19. I am wondering is there a lot of Filipino Store there or any convenience store that offers our product? Thank you Sir!
